After media intervention, the DCE for Wasa East District honourable Emmanuel Boakye has said 60 dual desks will be ready for the school on Monday to ease the desk deficit plunging the school.
He narrated that Wassa East Education Directorate was aware of the plight of the student and steps had already been taken steps to solve the problem.
Meanwhile, ¢3,000 has been given to the Assembly member of the area to fund the cost of the desks.
However, information available from a deep throat source indicates the head teacher will face some sort of sanctions for allowing the students to go on the street without proper guidance and protection.
He was summoned before the Wassa East Education Directorate yesterday to answer questions about the demonstration.
The education directorate will also visit the school hopefully tomorrow. The source revealed.
However, the chiefs and elders of the area have met the school authorities to find amicable solutions to the predicaments facing the school. The Chief Nana Yaw Gyasi explained.
He also stressed that the town has not seen development for many years since the MP for the area Martin Adjei Mensah has not stepped foot in the town after winning the election.
