Two police officers have been accused of beating a 17 year old washing bay attendant boy Samuel Kwesi Boateng to death at a washing bay in Abirem Mamanso.
The deceased’s family has requested that the case should be investigated by the police.
The deceased brother, Emmanuel, told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM that the officers allegedly attacked Kwesi because the claimed he has offended them
He explained the his brother was agonizing in pain and was send to the hospital where he was reported dead.
He also reported how the police officers drove their car to the facility and instructed the boy to wash it.
Kwesi refused to wash the car because the police officers did not paid for such services.
Water was however splashed on the officers while the decease was washing another car, he then apologised and the officers left.
It was alleged that a colleague called the officers and told them Kwesi insulted them and as a result the police officers allegedly returned and beat Kwesi.
Emmanuel also revealed that, the owner of the washing bay witness the incident but had denied seeing it.
“the owner of the washing bay witnessed what happened, he called my mother and told her that the officers had attacked my brother but later changed the story and claim he didn’t see what happened.
